Portrait of a WINS Store Volunteer

Featured Story

Ingrid, WINS Store Volunteer

As a registered nurse for over 40 years, I've always had a passion for helping people. When I discovered WINS and their mission to support women and immigrants in need, I knew I had to get involved. For the past nine years, I've been volunteering at the WINS Store in Richmond, and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I volunteer almost full-time at the store not because I have to, but because I'm passionate about making a positive impact.

Chantel, House to Home Participant

The House to Home Program made living in a different city more comfortable. They provided me with the basic furniture I needed and equip myself with the necessary skills to start a new life.
