Joel joined the WINS board in April 2017 and served as a director until 2024. He rejoined WINS in 2025 as a committee member for the External Relations Committee (ERC).

Professionally, Joel held various executive and senior leadership positions in the Oil & Gas service industry during his 38-year tenure. He had the opportunity to conduct business in more than 35 countries across 6 continents. Joel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He enjoys golfing, skiing, fishing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
