Shannon Greer

She worked in the office of a former Alberta premier before moving to British Columbia, where she held key roles in the B.C. Public Service, including serving as Communications Director for the Ministry of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic. Shannon currently works at New West Public Affairs, supporting corporate, non-profit, and industry clients with their public affairs and advocacy efforts. She is also an instructor in MaKami College’s Applied Politics and Public Affairs program, the first of its kind in Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the University of Calgary and a diploma in Broadcast News from SAIT. Shannon is honoured to volunteer with WINS and be part of an organization making a meaningful difference in the lives of women and families across Calgary.
