When life feels like a jigsaw puzzle, sometimes you need help fitting all of the pieces together. The Community Resource Hubs serve as a space for people to access support and work toward their goals, whatever those may be. WINS Hubs provide individual guidance and connections depending on their unique situation, working to ensure their basic needs are taken cared of.

Charlie's Children
Motherhood is a beautiful yet challenging journey, having to deal with countless responsibilities all at once. But wouldn't it be wonderful if you could receive all the support you need without having to worry about finances? That's where Charlie's Children steps in.
To avail this program:

must be willing to undergo financial screening

have a valid doctor's notes indicating expected due date (if expecting)

show a birth certificate if your child is under one year old

provide a government issued photo identification
Goal Support
Sometimes life gets overwhelming and trying to figure it out on your own is tough. If you have goals and don’t know where to start, we can help! Email hubs@winsyyc.ca to learn more about the kind of support we can provide.
Programs you can access by appointment
Positive Parenting
WINS will be offering a Positive Parenting Program ("Triple P")

Sessions are for parents and caregivers of children aged 2 - 12 years old

Offered in both English and Spanish

1-on-1 sessions available in-person or virtually
Program will provide parents with simple and practical ideas to help them build strong and healthy relationships with their children, feel confident managing their children's behavior, and help to prevent the development of behavior problems.
Early Learners
WINS also offers Early Learners Sessions

Sessions are for parents and their children aged 3-5 years old

Sessions are in group settings to facilitate and foster teamwork & collaboration for children
Program will provide parents with practical information and skills as their children's first teacher, as they prepare them for formal education. Develop teaching plans, strengthen your relationship and increase confidence while practicing new skills and learning how to problem solve.
Tax Clinics
WINS Community Resource Hubs are now offering free tax clinics to eligible low-income Calgarians by providing assistance in filing your Income Tax Returns.
Hub Locations and Hours of Operations
WINS operates five Community Resource Hubs located in housing complexes throughout Calgary. Our Hubs provide families with barrier-free access to essential programs, services, and resources that improve and support their well being.
