This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women driving change and the momentum building behind them.

Nadine Niba

As a new immigrant and student, Nadine Niba was doing everything she could to build a life in Canada , but behind her determination was exhaustion, uncertainty, and the quiet weight of almost giving up.

Then, during a chance encounter on a train, a stranger shared something that changed her path: WINS.

What followed was more than support — it was renewed hope, dignity, and momentum. Ten years later, Nadine stands as a powerful example of what can happen when women are supported at a critical moment.

Today, Nadine Niba is an award-winning business leader, bestselling author, and Alberta Regional Leader for Risk Advisory Services at BDO Canada LLP. She advises executive teams and boards on governance, enterprise risk, and technology risk.

She is the author of Quarterback: An Immigrant’s Guide to Corporate North America, an Amazon Canada #1 bestseller. Nadine is a board director, mentor, and respected voice on leadership, resilience, and immigrant success in corporate Canada.

Her full story of resilience and momentum coming soon!
