With over 10 years of experience across business development, sponsorship, and marketing, Jennifer has built a career around driving growth through meaningful partnerships. She’s passionate about creating opportunities that don’t just benefit organizations—but strengthen the broader community. Outside of her day-to-day role, Jennifer is deeply involved in Calgary’s business and nonprofit landscape. She serves as Co-Chair of Canada Powered by Women (Alberta Chapter) and actively supports Canadian Women in Energy. Her role on the Women in Need Society Advisory Committee reflects her commitment to supporting women and families and contributing to real, tangible change at the community level.
I joined the Women in Need Society (WINS) Advisory Committee in 2026, where I support external relations and partnership development to help expand the organization’s community impact.
Jennifer Bishop is a Business Development Manager with Tourism Calgary, where she works to attract global conferences and opportunities that drive economic growth and elevate Calgary on the world stage. Her background includes leadership roles with connect First Credit Union and the Toronto Region Board of Trade, where she led partnership development, sponsorship strategy, and revenue growth initiatives across key sectors.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Lakehead University and is a Chartered Marketer. She combines formal training with over a decade of hands-on experience in business development, marketing, and strategic partnerships.
Jennifer serves as Co-Chair of Canada Powered by Women (Alberta Chapter) and is an active volunteer and mentor with Canadian Women in Energy. She also supports initiatives with the Calgary Chamber and WTAL Canada, contributing to efforts that strengthen Calgary’s business and community ecosystem.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys staying active in Calgary’s business and social community, attending industry events, and making meaningful connections across industries. She also values travel, wellness, and experiences that bring people together.
