WINS Board of Directors

Being active in my community has always been very important to me. When the opportunity to join the board of WINS came up I jumped at the chance to join such an amazing organization. WINS is such an important organization in our community, the services we offer are needed more now than ever.

WINS is an amazing organization and a very important part of our community, helping Calgarians in need. I am honored to be involved with an organization that is so impactful and caring about the community, our people, our teams and our environment.

I am passionate about community-building and strive to make my contributions impactful on the societal level.

WINS plays such an important role for women and their families in Calgary. I believe that empowering women leads to healthier families, economic growth and development.

I’m thrilled to play a role in this amazing and dynamic organization. I’m grateful for the impact WINS has on women and their families in our communities, and am very excited to be involved.

Serving on the WINS Board these past several years has been extremely fulfilling. To see the amazing work that WINS does and knowing that we make a difference in so many Calgarians lives every single day is truly rewarding. WINS ROCKS!

I am so grateful I joined WINS as it has been an amazing experience to work with a passionate, creative, results-driven team that makes an impact in Calgary every day.

I volunteer at WINS because I am with Nelson Mandela when he said “if you want to change the world, help the women.

I want to give back to our amazing Calgary community and feel WINs serves a hugely important role/function in the community.

I chose to volunteer with the WINS Board because it is an organization that empowers women and their families with local impact. I have seen first-hand how the services WINS provides can change someone's life. The difference that can be made when people work together in community can be transformational for families, and I hope to be a champion for women and girls to achieve their dreams.

I am really proud to be a part of an organization that has such a strong community reach and is able to provide so many necessary services to women and their families in Calgary. Through its social programs and diversion of clothing and goods through its thrift stores, WINS is making a substantial and appreciable difference for our community that I am grateful to support and be a part of through my role on the WINS Board.

The values at WINS are closely aligned with my own personal values, which makes it enjoyable to work alongside the Management, Associates and Volunteers, and I see a direct impact on making peoples’ lives better serving on the WINS Board of Directors.

I am honored to volunteer with WINS, an organization makes such a positive impact in Calgary for so many women and families. WINS has been a cornerstone in the Calgary community for over 30 years offering essential services and goods to those in our community. I look forward to the opportunity to work with the amazing team at WINS!
