Kathy Davies Murphy

Kathy joined the WINS Governance Committee as a Community Representative in 2024. In her professional life, Kathy is a proud public servant, having worked with The City of Calgary for the past 15 years. She is currently the Deputy Director, Service Excellence where she works to put Calgarians at the heart of the everyday services that The City provides. Prior to working for The City of Calgary, Kathy held a variety of roles with Canadian Pacific Railway spanning commercial, financial and operating functions. Kathy earned her MBA from the University of Calgary and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Mount Allison University.

Outside of work, you can find Kathy and her husband cheering on their twin daughters at the softball field, enjoying the local arts scene or planning their next travel adventure.  Kathy volunteers with the Westhill Softball Association, with her daughters' school and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Twin, Triplets and More Association of Calgary.
