Warehousing is one of the most highly-demanded jobs in Calgary!

Warehouse Ready by WINS helps people to build their confidence to enable suitable and stable employment, securing the path to self-sufficiency. This program offers 6 weeks of instruction and work experience.

Intakes are set up to offer 4 weeks of warehouse competency seminars alongside general life skills and awareness about being a great employee, communicating with colleagues and supervisors, time management, conflict management and other job search activities.

A two-week internship is the next step of the service where participants will get the full warehouse employment experience and emerge ready to work in any warehouse setting. The service includes learning about Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) as well as training/certification for common warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and other machinery.

This program supports participants who demonstrate a willingness to find stable employment and who are suited for careers in the warehouse industry.

Please note that what we are offering is an employment training program, not a job opportunity. If you are interested in working at WINS, please visit our careers page. For more information, please contact Warehouse Ready Coordinators at warehouseready@winsyyc.ca or call (403) 852-1075
